Location Waynesboro, Virginia Position Assembler 1: support production and manufacturing operations at our Central Virginia manufacturing facilities. What You'll Get To Do Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Make continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Must obtain/maintain workmanship certifications. This position is contingent upon proposal/task award. The chosen candidate is projected to start around January 2027. Basic Qualifications High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 0 years of additional experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. US citizenship is required. Ability to lift and move objects, up to 30 lbs, from one location to another. The ability to walk, stand, sit, squat, kneel, twist, bend, and reach is required. Use of both hands for repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions is required. Preferred Qualifications Work experience in electro‑mechanical manufacturing, including wire harness. IPC 610/620 Workmanship Certification. J‑STD‑001 Certification. Familiar with AS9100D/ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. Ability to read/understand blueprints/3D models. Salary Primary Level Salary Range: $31,500.00 – $52,500.00 Additional Information Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long‑Term Incentives.
