Walker Engineering is looking for an experienced Commercial Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations and ensure high-quality project execution on large-scale commercial electrical jobs in DFW. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on safety, productivity, and results.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Field – Supervise and direct all Walker field personnel, subcontractors, and site operations
• Drive Safety – Enforce safety programs, OSHA compliance, and participate in investigations
• Plan and Coordinate – Manage materials, manpower, schedules, and subcontractor activities
• Execute the Work – Oversee installations of feeders, switchgear, lighting systems, and controls
• Solve Problems – Address productivity issues, resolve conflicts, and adapt to project changes
• Track Progress – Maintain daily reports, documentation, as-built drawings, and task hazard analysis
• Communicate Constantly – Stay aligned with PMs, engineering, purchasing, and logistics teams

What You Bring

• Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License
• 5+ years of commercial/industrial supervisory experience
• Ability to read drawings and lead crews in complex builds
• OSHA-30 Certification or willingness to get it within 6 months
• Solid communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Preferred But Not Required

• Previous experience on large-scale commercial electrical projects
