Nimnicht is seeking a dependable and professional Part-Time Automotive Dealer Trade Driver to assist with vehicle transfers between dealerships. This is an as-needed position ideal for retirees, semi-retired individuals, or anyone looking for flexible supplemental income.

The Dealer Trade Driver plays a vital role in ensuring vehicles are safely and efficiently transported between dealerships while providing a positive representation of our company.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for transporting new and pre-owned vehicles to and from dealerships, auctions, vendors, and other designated locations. Drivers must maintain a clean driving record, demonstrate safe driving habits, and provide excellent professionalism while representing the dealership.

Compensation

• In-Town Transfers: Paid a flat daily rate
• Out-of-Town Transfers: Paid based on mileage traveled
• Flexible schedule based on dealership needs
• Work available on an as-needed basis

Responsibilities

• Safely transport vehicles between dealerships and designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Verify vehicle condition before and after transport.
• Complete required vehicle transfer documentation.
• Maintain communication with dealership management regarding trip status.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure vehicles arrive clean and damage-free.
• Assist with miscellaneous dealership transportation needs as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Comfortable driving various makes and models of vehicles.
• Ability to navigate using GPS and mobile applications.
• Strong attention to detail and vehicle care.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous dealership, transportation, courier, or delivery driving experience.
• Familiarity with dealer trade processes and vehicle transportation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the day.
• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods during out-of-town trips.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
