Our Rebuild Center in Park City, Kansas, is on the lookout for skilled Technicians to join our dynamic team and perform assembly of Electrical Power Generation (EPG) equipment. If you have a technical aptitude and are eager to transition into a rewarding career as a Heavy Equipment and/or EPG Technician, this is your opportunity!
Compensation - Hourly Base Rate: $24.62 - $32.02 / hour
Key Responsibilities: - Perform disassembly, assembly, and testing of generator components.
- Use resistive load bank equipment for generator testing and repairs.
- Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on power generation assemblies.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, providing minor repair on gensets.
- Be flexible to work overtime as needed and respond to after-hours calls.
- Operation of various types of forklifts, come-a-longs, and overhead cranes and hoists.
- Travel for training and support at other locations as required.
Our Ideal Candidate: - Possesses basic mechanical knowledge, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics systems.
- Skilled with hand tools, air tools, precision measuring instruments, diagnostic software, and rigging equipment.
- Capable of reading and understanding specifications, service and parts literature, and technical bulletins.
What Will Put You Ahead: - An Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year technical school.
- Experience in assembly/disassembly within relevant industries.
- A stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
