We’re hiring an experienced Litigation Paralegal (remote, contract).
Dermer Appel Ruder, LLC is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience who can step in and handle substantive litigation work—primarily in insurance defense (premises liability, trucking, and personal injury), with some plaintiff- work.
This is not an administrative role. We need someone who is comfortable:
• Drafting discovery responses, including communicating directly with clients to gather substantive information
• Preparing plaintiff demand packages
• Creating detailed medical chronologies
• Working independently and keeping cases moving
Experience with nursing home litigation is a strong plus. Familiarity with Clio and NetDocuments is preferred. Time entry in Clio (ABA billing) required.
Fully remote. Hourly contract position. Flexible but steady work - approximately 20 hours per week.
