In this role you will be supporting our sustainment and modernization programs as a part of the engineering team. Our ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, a drive to lead from where you are, collaborative people skills, and the proven ability to work within a technically diverse and fast-paced team. This position is in Warner Robins, GA and requires that you work on-site daily. Roles and responsibilities will include: Fabricate prototype electromechanical systems per engineering source data. Perform technical analysis, reviews and recommendations of hardware and electrical system for manufacturability. Maintains and utilizes general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. Advises engineering teams of material availability and potential production problems to ensure that equipment and materials are provided as needed. May provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Basic Qualifications: 6 years of relevant experience or Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 2 years of relevant experience Experience in one or more areas of manufacturing operations Experience with material specifications and tooling for fabrication Experience with electronics assembly/repair to include soldering, IC replacement and wire termination for circuit cards and cable assemblies Experience with electronic component selection and evaluating test requirements for avionics systems Experience in one or more areas of manufacturing operations Must be able to obtain and maintain US Government Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experience with legacy system sustainment and modernization, including hardware redesign due to obsolescence Experience with schematic development and circuit card design Prior DoD Industry Experience Experience in one or more areas of manufacturing operations Current US Government Secret Clearance Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
