Boro Park Center is hiring a Registered Nurse Educator in Brooklyn, NY.
Develop, coordinate, and deliver educational programs for nursing and support staff.
Facilitate onboarding, orientation, annual competencies, and ongoing in-service training programs.
Promote best practices related to infection prevention, workplace safety, emergency preparedness, resident care, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, mentoring, and educational support to improve clinical outcomes.
Assist with quality improvement initiatives and participate in performance improvement activities.
Maintain educational records, competency evaluations, attendance logs, and required training documentation.
Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs and implement effective training solutions.
Review employee-related incidents and contribute to workplace safety and injury prevention efforts.
Support employee health initiatives, including required screenings, immunizations, and return-to-work processes as permitted within scope of practice.
Stay current with healthcare regulations, evidence-based practices, and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance and excellence.
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of three years of experience in nursing education, staff development, or clinical training within a long-term care or post-acute care setting.
Strong understanding of state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities.
Experience with quality assurance, performance improvement, and competency-based education.
CPR certification required; instructor certification is a plus.
Knowledge of infection prevention, employee health, workplace safety, and emergency preparedness.
Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
Demonstrated commitment to staff development, resident care quality, and regulatory compliance.
