As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Associate in Clermont, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical support calls, and/or other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, while documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and permissions as directed, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
  • Perform assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site policies, maintaining professional presence, preparedness, and sound judgment during routine operations and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
