Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this active role, you will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while helping staff, patients, and visitors feel supported throughout each shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in designated areas, verifying credentials and reporting unauthorized persons and/or suspicious behavior.
• Carry authorized defensive equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and applicable laws, while maintaining professionalism during patrols and response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
