Location: Bethesda, MD Reports to: Director of Transportation Job Type: Part-time; Intermittent; Non-Exempt; Hourly Salary Information: $20.00 per hour (2 hours guaranteed) Schedule: School Days only (typically M-F, no holidays, breaks, or weekends), 7:00-9:00AM Benefits: This position is eligible for Montgomery County Sick & Safe Leave and is not eligible for additional benefits or paid time-off.

The Shuttle Van Driver is responsible for the effective, efficient, and safe transportation, loading, and unloading of students to and from assigned destinations. It is the role of the Shuttle Van Driver to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers and that vehicle operations consistently adhere to school, DOT, and safety standards. This position requires demonstrating the competencies and behaviors needed to provide premier customer satisfaction, maintain punctual attendance, and support the core values, vision, and mission of Rochambeau.
Physical Demands: This position primarily operates in school, outdoor, and in-transit environments. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc., and maintain physical mobility, including extended sitting, walking, standing, twisting, and stair climbing.
