We are seeking detail-oriented, results-driven individuals to join our team and guide our clients through one of lifes most meaningful milestones - homeownership./ppJob Overview:/ppAs a Title Underwriter, you will play a critical role in evaluating title risk, underwriting commitments and policies, and resolving intricate title issues. You will serve not only as a subject-matter expert, but also as a trusted partner to internal teams, outside settlement agents, and principal title insurance companies. The Title Underwriter is responsible for analyzing title searches to determine title status and identify conditions that must be satisfied prior to issuing title commitments. This role works collaboratively with title companies to address questions of property insurability. The Title Underwriter prepares title commitments using agency software, corresponds with outside settlement agents regarding commitments, makes necessary revisions, and prepares owners and lenders title insurance policies using firm software.
