Legal Assistant / Paralegal (Construction Litigation)

Our client, a well-established, litigation firm, is seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with attorneys on construction and civil litigation matters in a collaborative, low-ego environment that genuinely values work-life balance.

What You’ll Do

• Support attorneys with day-to-day litigation tasks
• Manage and organize case files using a cloud-based document management system (NET Documents preferred)
• Assist with discovery, document production, and filings
• Draft and proofread pleadings, correspondence, and legal documents
• Coordinate calendaring, deadlines, and scheduling
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Help ensure cases move forward efficiently and deadlines are met

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal (litigation experience strongly preferred)
• Experience with civil litigation (construction or insurance defense is a plus)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Experience with document management systems (NET Documents is a plus)

Compensation

• $30–$37/hour , depending on experience
